Biomass

Bio-renewables from sustainable sources help in a greener future. Our briquettes are made of Elephant Grass, (Pennisetum Purpureum), a C4 category plant, which uses an accelerated photosynthetic process to absorb and fixate carbon in its rhizomes, resulting in the enrichment of poor soils

C4 Biomass plants

C4 plants are a group of plants that use a specific photosynthetic pathway to convert carbon dioxide into organic compounds. They are known for their high productivity and efficiency in converting sunlight into biomass. Examples of C4 plants include elephant grass, corn, sugarcane, and switchgrass.

C4 biomass plants are considered to be a renewable energy source because the biomass they use can be regrown, unlike fossil fuels.
